题识：山径摘花春醉酒，竹窗留月夜谈诗。星斋潘曾莹。鹤巢大兄世讲属。||钤印：臣曾莹印、身历六官 |说明：潘曾莹，字申甫，号星斋，江苏吴县人。大学士潘世恩仲子。道光二十一年(1841)进士，官至工部左侍郎。学有要柢，尤长于史学。工书、画，初写花，以徐渭、陈淳为宗，冶澹有致。后专工山水，秀逸旷远，每作扇头小景，颇有古意。书法初学赵松雪，晚学米芾，尤得其神髓。着有《小鸥波馆文钞》等。
