|成对一组，器形直口，细长颈，削肩，肩以下渐硕，腹下部丰满。胆瓶，因器型如悬胆而得名。为花器，始烧于唐代至清中晚期。盛行于宋代，是陶瓷器型中的经典。胆瓶由于造型典雅优美，给人超烦脱俗的无限情趣，为当时宋代朝野各界所追捧。此器外壁黑色的地釉和姿态各异的黄褐色斑纹，与天然玳瑁极为相似，别具一番情趣。玳瑁釉是一种窑变釉。其作法是在器物上先施一种氧化铁含量较高的釉料，然后再随意甩洒一种氧化铁含量较低的釉料，烧成时产生交融、流淌，千变万化，惹人喜爱。
