|此器取材和田白玉材料，致密温润，作品整体以圆雕为主，圆雕一童子执荷，童子呈半坐姿，一膝立起，头梳抓髻，笑容可掬，手执荷花茎叶，贴于身后，一副天真烂漫之态。童子执荷题材，源于宋代，到了明清时期成为制玉传统题材，以童子执荷象征百年好合（荷），连（莲）生贵子，以表现对人丁旺盛的向往。
