款识：壬子年郭熙画。 鉴藏印：嘉庆御览之宝、石渠定鉴、石渠宝笈、珠林重定。 作品简介：郭熙，北宋画家、绘画理论家。字淳夫，河阳温县（今河南孟县东）人。早年信奉道教，游于方外，以画闻名。熙宁元年召入画院，后任翰林待诏直长。此枯木寒林图为郭熙极为善长之题材，山石结构有力，枯木寒林尖锐苍劲，十分生动的表现出了高寒之感，视觉冲击力直取内心。
