笔筒直口，呈圆柱形。通体绘青花纹饰。器身主体以青花为墨，以绘松树雄健遒劲，树皮斑驳，再绘山石竹叶映衬；器身另一边绘明月，颇有“明月松间照”之意境。王维诗云：“明月松间照，清泉石上流”。松、月题材常见于文人画。此笔筒以青花代墨，受文人画豪放洒脱画风的影响，布局有致，画意横生，体现了文人雅士的审美情趣。
