米黄色绸缎上以湘绣针法，刺绣四季花鸟纹饰四幅。湘绣与苏绣、蜀绣、粤绣并称四大名绣。湘绣传统上有七十二种针法，主要有分平绣类、织绣类、网绣类、纽绣、结绣类等五大类。湘绣针法复杂极富表现力，更有“绣花能生香，绣鸟能听声，绣虎能奔跑，绣人能传神”的美誉。
