龙泉青瓷素负盛名，宋元时期烧造盛极一时，以端庄的造型、悦目的釉色备受世人珍爱，邵蛰民撰《增补古今瓷器源流考》记龙泉窑青瓷“胎细体厚，釉浓式拙，色甚葱翠……”。此碗即属此类，全器满施龙泉梅子青釉，釉色均净雅丽，宛如春水，玻璃质感极强，胎体细薄坚致，内外光素，古色古香，雅丽惹喜。
