唇口，短颈，丰肩，鼓腹，腹下渐收，近足处外撇，足边斜削，浅宽圈足，沙底无釉。器形硕大，线条优美，体壮而不失雅致。通身青花绘装饰，主题纹饰为高士雅集，可见苍松劲拔，祥云弥漫，一面绘三高士对弈，一面绘四老者观云，情趣盎然。观其绘画风格，为明代空白期典型样式，布局疏朗有致，画风粗犷，青花发色蓝中偏灰，但色调沉稳、匀净自然，人物刻画生动，笔触略细碎，但别开生面，使大罐雅韵顿生，构图上画面多云纹，云雾缭绕，好似人间仙境，有“云堂手”之别名。
