拍品撇口，弧腹，圈足，微折沿，形制极为少见。碗心开光内绘朵莲纹，枝叶对称分布，组成“十”字状。外壁口沿处饰八宝吉祥如意纹，近足处饰海涛纹，外壁通景绘荷塘图，寓意“本固枝荣”，莲颈深固淤泥，花叶繁茂，有根基牢固，兴旺发达之寓意。清代晚期用青花勾茎叶的方法以及莲瓣的特点，在此器上亦有体现，为光绪官窑的典型作品。拍品的特殊之处还在于，光绪朝六字款多见青花款与红彩款，类似拍品釉上蓝料款的不多见。拍品制作精美，设色丰富，成对保存，极为珍贵。
