公道杯源于明洪武年间，是汉族饮酒用瓷制品。此种酒杯盛酒时只能浅平，过满则杯中之酒便会因孔全部漏掉，一滴不剩，寓意“满招损，谦受益”的人生处世哲理。此杯造型周正，作八棱形，碗楞圆滑，左右对称。通体施白釉，釉色莹润如玉，杯壁贴泥装饰六组折枝梅花纹，左右两面留白，杯内中心伫立一老者，长髯垂胸，笑容可掬，神态自然生动。整器精工细作，纹饰舒朗有致，独具风格。
