作者简介：虚堂智愚（1185～1269），俗姓陈，号息耕叟，生于四明象山（今宁波象山）。南宋著名禅僧。虚堂智愚16岁从普明寺僧师蕴得法，是临济宗第四十代。先后住育王、净慈、径山等寺院，道倾东南，僧徒众多。后受高丽国王延请居住高丽八年。
