款识：|1.舍得，星云。|钤印：「星云」|2.慈悲十方。佛光山星云。|钤印：「星云」 |作者简介：释星云，江苏扬州（江都）人，十二岁于南京栖霞寺礼志开上人出家。为临济宗第48代传人。1945年入栖霞律学院修学佛法。1949年春，组织僧侣救护队去台湾。1967年创建佛光山，并出任佛光山寺第一、二、三任住持。曾任中国国民党党务顾问、中央常务委员。现任国际佛光会世界总会会长，南京大学中华文化研究院名誉院长等职。
