款识：二零零九京新画。钤印：周京新印（白） |周京新，男，1959年生于南京，祖籍江苏通州。1984年毕业于南京艺术学院美术系中国画专业，获学士学位并留校任教。1989年南京艺术学院美术系中国画专业在职研究生毕业，获硕士学位。现任南京艺术学院教授，博士生、硕士生导师，南京艺术学院副院长。中国美术家协会理事，江苏省美术家协会副主席，江苏省政协常委。作品曾获第六届、第七届全国美展银奖，第九届全国美展优秀作品奖。作品分别被中国美术馆、香港艺术馆、南京博物院等处收藏。2010年8月，出任江苏省国画院第五任院长。
