|李远东，1964年生，广东茂名人。先后毕业于天津艺术学院及广州美术学院，师从孙其峰、孙伯翔等老师。现为国家一级美术师，中国书法家协会行书委员会委员，中国书法家协会会员，第四届中国书协评审委员，广东省书法家协会副主席，广东省书法院院长。2011年被评选为全国书法家年度十大人物之一。作品2011年获中国书法家协会“羲之奖”全国书法篆刻大奖赛金奖、全国第一届行草书大展银奖、全国第六届中青年展提名奖，2004年获《全国五一文化奖》，2011年被中国书协授予《纪念中国书协成立30周年》贡献奖等奖项，书法作品入展第五、六、七届全国书法展览，并多次获奖。
