A very similar parcel-gilt, repoussé bowl, also decorated with a central medallion of two carp-like fish, dated Tang dynasty and excavated in 1970 at the famous Hejiacun horde, is in the collection of the Shaanxi History Museum in Xi'an (李来玉, "鎏金双鱼纹银碗", Kaogu, 28 August 2014. Web. 16 February 2016). Also found in the Hejiacun horde, and now in the collection of the Shaanxi History Museum, is a double-peach form parcel-gilt dish decorated with foxes arranged in a similar form.
