绞胎在装饰工艺中属特殊品种，工艺复杂，制作难度大。其做法是将先前准备好的泥料相绞而成泥卷，切片作菱形，通过模具以镶嵌、拼接、挤压等形式，与先前做好的素胚粘嵌为贴面绞胎，再施釉，入窑烧成。拍品即为一例绞胎工艺佳作，器型古朴精巧，釉色纹理清晰自然，千变万化，可堪赏玩。
