An Italian sclupture or table ornament realistically modelled as a snail cast in solid .800 silver by Marcello Minotto for Buccellati. Fine textured finish to the body with gilt eyes. 3rd quarter 20th Century. Minotto is perhaps best known for his colaboration with Mario Buccellati, producing jewelry and sculptures for the New York and Palm Beach offices from 1947 to 1980.
