The passionate autograph collector recalled, "Van Halen opened for Black Sabbath in 1977 and from then on, until David Lee Roth left, I saw every tour." One time, at the Meadowlands in 1984, he was hanging out with Julian Lennon. "We were in a bathroom, and Eddie was walking around carrying a bottle of Jack Daniels and saying how he was a better piano player than guitar player. The whole band was fawning all over Julian because they were huge fans of his dad. All I cared about was autographs. I was there for Van Halen."
