|五世达赖（1617-1682），喇嘛名阿旺罗桑嘉措，是藏传佛教格鲁派活佛，第五世达赖喇嘛。17世纪西藏地方最著名的佛教领袖、政治家和学者，格鲁派甘丹颇章政权的建立者之一。至今人们还把他称为“额巴钦波”，意思是“伟大的五世”达赖喇嘛。此尊达赖造像头戴通人冠，身着袒右肩式袈裟，内穿交领式僧衣，外披僧氅，这是西藏僧人的典型装束。袈裟质地厚重，裙摆自然铺于座垫之上。上师左手置脐前结禅定印托经书，右手结说法印，全跏趺坐于錾刻精致莲纹的双层坐垫上。通体鎏金，是一尊不可多得的祖师造像精品。
