A 20th century French walnut comtoise-type longcase clock with two-train weight driven movement striking on a bell, the circular enamel dial with Roman hour numerals and inscribed 'Prestige De France, Morbier' beneath pierced brass foliate scrolls and sunburst mask, the hood with moulded arch pediment and glazed door, above a banjo shaped trunk with glazed door, on a panelled base and bun feet, height 218cm, with pendulum and two weights.
