A George III oak longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the brass break arch dial with subsidiary seconds and date dials framed by a silvered chapter ring with Roman hour numerals, the arch with silvered boss, inscribed 'Matthew Boyes', the hood with caddy top above a moulded pediment and dentil cornice, the glazed door with turned columns, the rectangular trunk door with shaped top on a plain base and bracket feet, height 205cm, with pendulum and two weights.
