说明：宗喀巴（1357-1419），是藏传佛教格鲁派创始人。该造像全跏趺坐于莲花宝座之上，左手结法印，是因藏密尊奉宗喀巴为文殊菩萨的化身。躯体端正挺直，身着袒右肩式袈裟，内穿交领式僧衣，这是西藏僧人的典型装束。衣纹刻划厚重写实，衣领及袖口边缘处均錾刻有清晰的花纹带，做工精细。束腰仰覆式莲花座，莲瓣扁平挺拔，时代特征鲜明。
