合欢壶为曼生十八式之一。壶身用两器对合而成，所以得名合欢，寓意合而则欢。历代合欢壶有多式，而此合欢壶则为传统造型，对合之处线条挺立，壶身圆润端庄，通体并未采用任何装饰方式，仅以线条屈曲来体现气韵和谐，刚柔并济，贯通一气。壶底铭刻“自有一山川”诗句文，所谓禅茶一味，大概如此。
