A Luxembourg (Septfontaines Pottery Factory) creamware (faience fine) coffee pot and cover, circa 1800, moulded in relief with shaped and alternate panels of foliage and faux fish-skin, applied with a side handle at forty-five degrees and three scroll feet, 23.5cm high
Cf. a similar example in the Victoria & Albert Museum (C.581 & A-1909). This was originally acquired by the museum as French (faience fine) Pont-aux-Choux, circa 1765 but by the year 2000 had been re-attributed. Also see Jana Kybalova, European Creamware (1989) p.'s 57-59 under its original Pont-aux-Choux factory designation.
