|这件黑釉盏圆口外撇，斜腹下收，圈足较小，胎体呈深褐色，尤似未尝精炼的生铁，这便是建窑中典型的铁胎器，外壁施釉不到底，釉层较厚，釉面上有较为密集的点状窑变痕，在日光下呈银色，这便是建窑中的“银油滴”窑变釉器。|此类窑变釉建盏产于建宁府瓯宁县，均为高档的茶具，由于烧成受坯、釉、窑温的制约，烧成范围很窄，难度很大。故在宋代就有日本学僧将其作为中土的宝器带回日本，同时美国许多著名博物馆也有建盏的收藏，以密西根大学为多，建窑器也被尊为窑变釉陶瓷艺术的鼻祖。
