|这件红釉罐圆口丰肩，圈足，通体施红釉，釉层较厚，凝釉处色如鲜血，呈色纯正，红釉属单色釉，以金属铜的化合物为呈色剂，铜元素的着色力极强，但对于窑内气氛要求较为严格，成品率较低，明代才开始出现，由于红为喜庆之色，象征火德，故多用于庆典或祭祀用的礼器。
