|来源：香港佳士得，2014年11月26日，编号3386||说明：此像以精铜分段铸造而成，体量颇为硕大，题材为刘海戏金蟾，为明清时期经典吉祥纹样。刘海跣足而立，平顶披发，圆庞迭颐，斜眸大笑，袒上身，胸间系带，背负葫芦。身微微倾侧，右手上举，捏钱呈逗引状，下身着裙，姿态生动活泼，富于人间情趣。下承山石状台座，以铜表现山石之嶙峋，器底装饰海水波涛纹，其上卧伏三足金蟾，整器形象刻画细致入微，栩栩如生，加之皮壳包浆油亮，极为珍罕。同类藏品可见大英博物馆藏刘海戏金蟾，编号 1992，0612.1.|刘海，道号海蟾子，五代燕山（今北京西南）人。少年时曾为宰相，后因厌倦官场，改学道术。又因会戏灵物“金蟾”，得金钱致富，后代奉为“福神”，为财源兴旺之象，沿袭至今，历久尤盛。
