诗堂：自天申之保尔荣昌，宽厚和平之悠久无疆。研农徐霖。||钤印：徐霖号研农又字衡耀。||款识：赐笺，由敦书。 |简介：汪由敦（1692-1758），初名汪良金，字师苕，号谨堂，又号松泉居士。安徽休宁人。生于清康熙三十一年，卒于乾隆二十三年，年六十七岁。雍正二年（1724年）进士，改庶吉士。乾隆间，累官至吏部尚书。老诚敏慎，在职勤劳。金川用兵，廷谕皆出其手。卒，加赠太子太师，谥文端。由敦学问渊深，文辞雅正，兼工书法。著有《松泉集》。
