|拍品选用紫檀精雕而成，选料厚实细腻，色调沉稳，虽为底座，但推磨光洁圆润，其上雕螭虎纹，身形矫健，雕工精湛而富于动感。此紫檀器造型端庄稳健，为避免过于凝滞，掏挖交叠，顿现生动，足见工匠审美意趣。清代宫廷文玩摆设极为精细，无论瓷器、玉器、铜器均配底座，底座多为木质，以紫檀最为珍贵。此器造型别致，线条精美，乃宫廷贵族文房雅玩之物。
