|提要 座钟由钟体、钟座、座托三个部分组成。其中，钟体外部以黄花梨攒装而成，内部以铜为主要材料制成精密构件组装成钟。其背部錾刻有“美华利”楷书三字。钟座大致呈插屏屏座式样，两侧墙足雕饰团寿纹及葫芦藤蔓纹，正背面则以透雕同饰以葫芦藤蔓纹，雕琢精巧，打磨圆熟。钟座下承几案式座托，冰盘檐，束腰、广肩，三弯象鼻形腿足，四腿间设直枨，结构牢靠。黄花梨是我国明清时期家具主要用材，尤以明代宫廷家具为盛。至清代早中期仍有沿用，材质坚致稳定，花纹美观，市价极昂。此件座钟以名材精工精制，造型大方，工艺精巧华丽，或为清代异域供奉朝廷重臣家用，保存至今，其品相完好，尤能正常走时，可谓不易。
