题识：癸未仲春拟燕穆之笔意，吷庵夏敬观。||钤印：忍古楼、夏敬观、枕山栖谷 |说明：夏敬观，字剑丞，一作鉴丞，又字盥人、缄斋，晚号吷庵，别署玄修、牛邻叟，江西新建人。夏敬观工诗善词。诗宗孟郊、梅尧臣，刻意锻炼思致字句，不肯作一犹人语。古体诗目，不肯蹈常袭故。七绝《送灶日作》、《桃花谢后作》、《春江》诸篇，都语含寄托。词则出入欧阳修、晏殊、姜夔、张炎诸家之间，冶炼熔铸，不尚苟同，朱孝臧曾称赞其可与文廷式词相颉颃。张尔田称赞其为“词中之郑子尹”。著有《忍古楼诗集》、《映庵词》以及论词专著《忍古楼词话》、《词调溯源》等。||备注：原装旧裱
