题识：略似太湖石上新松。芳洲道丈一笑。昧庵老人麟。||钤印：臣虎、巢氏七砚斋印 |说明：邹之麟，字臣虎，号衣白，自号逸老，又号昧庵，江苏武进人。万历三十四年（1606）举南京乡试第一，三十八年（1610）进士，弘光时官至都宪，博极群书，文辞歌诗追古作者。书法主要学唐代的颜真卿，绘画学习元代黄公望的画法。他的山水潇洒、圆润、苍劲，充分地抒写了自己的性情；在用墨上，他擅长用干笔焦墨，画面浓淡相间，物象朴实简练。他在继承了元代黄公望到明代吴门画派的基础上，形成了自己特有的绘画风格，在明末清初的画坛上有一定的声望。
