|清马润芝彩绘本||1纸||提要：龙门书院是上海中学的前身，由道台丁日昌于清同治四年（1865）在上海倡办，同治六年（1867）道台应宝时拨银1万两在吾园建设成讲堂、楼廊及学舍41间。光绪二年（1876）道台冯光拨款增建校舍10间。光绪三十一年（1905）清朝废除科举制度后，书院改为苏松太道立龙门师范学校。
