|老紫檀为躯干，整块紫檀镂雕出老杆曲虬，体量较大，气势不凡。其上运用百宝嵌工艺，将象牙、青金、孔雀石、绿松石、玛瑙、等宝石点缀于上，构成蝙蝠、寿桃、灵芝纹饰。如意头镶嵌青白玉，中间饰太极纹，上下、左右分饰寿桃、蝙蝠纹，寓意吉祥，具有福寿之意。如意本是吉祥之物，清代进贡宫廷必不缺如意，宫中“处处座之旁，率陈如意常”，此物件摆放在案头、座位旁、床头等具有改善风水的功能。
