|说明：上等白玉雕琢而成，玉质细腻温润，白皙无暇，玉理精坚，冰洁无瑕，不着一尘。香盒做子母口，盖盒紧密，整料琢成，器壁薄而坚固，制作规整。盖面琢出菊花瓣纹饰，增加装饰性，另菊花本有轻巧之意，与本件香盒的小巧之态相符合。香品体量通常很小，香盒的大小也多为手掌可握，有扁平的圆形、方形、长方形、鱼形以及其他瓜果等等形状。不过也有例外，有一种用来储存瓣香、末香或塔香等香品的小罐子同为香盒，但其大小通常依个人习惯选用，密封不透气的圆罐或方罐。
