|材质：玉器|说明：古时壶为盛酒或盛水器，如《诗经》上说：“清酒百壶”，《孟子》上说：“簟食壶浆”。壶有圆形、方形、扁形和瓠形等多种形状。青铜器上的饕餮纹在商周发展到鼎盛，往往都是布满全身，诡谲威严之气尽显，是统治者权力和地位的象征；发展到汉代已经简化，缩减到局部，或者素面。究其原因可能是青铜礼器的功能已经向实用器转化。白玉壶制作规整，饰饕餮纹，螭龙纹，辅四瑞兽足，此壶是汉代典型作品，仿商周青铜壶造型，古朴端庄，轩昂沉稳，无不彰显出汉文化有容乃大的博大精深。
