|此炉厚壁齐口，清膛烧结，耳为下戟式，足为方角式，沿炉外壁自然直垂而下。底平如镜，形制端庄沉稳，润滑细婉，线条平直舒展，大小适手，正可文房书斋把玩，纵观此炉形制规仪，列为明代佳器，应不为过。是炉铜细润密致，持之坠手，叩之音短而清脆，可见铜质之精密，器虽小，坠手十分，比之清炉用铜精炼多矣。底书“正德年制”款，铸后修刻，起笔提按处尤显功力，底部剔平，四字如嵌。
