|说明：噶当塔是佛塔的一种，其以铃铛状覆钵为特色，相传此种塔为11世纪印度高僧阿底峡入藏传法时所传入，因流行于阿底峡弟子仲敦巴所创立的噶当派寺院，故俗称“噶当塔”。噶当塔的各部分分别代表地、水、火、空、风五大要素。塔剎为莲花宝顶，下承莲纹华盖。十三层相轮为成佛的十三金刚地，紧密高耸。相轮之下为覆体形塔瓶，其下有莲瓣装饰，依次往下有四级层，象征佛教四圣谛。再往下为塔基，基座腰部雕有仰莲和覆莲装饰，代表如实无误察知法相之慧和机察之处一心安住的念住。整体结构精当，层次分明。线条流畅优美，风格质朴自然。
