款识：秬堂日课为潜斋贤弟玩时书于苏台抚军署乾隆丁亥七月二十九日也 己丑清和月书为潜□六兄正 七弟谔亭昌||钤印：秬堂 臣昌 张昌印 与皆 |朱干，字赞文，号秬堂，浙江嘉兴人。乾隆辛酉拔贡，终生为塾师，教书育人，崇德厚学，怡然自得。干嘉名臣、大兴“二朱学派”的创立人朱珪、朱筠昆仲皆为其门生。|张昌（1732-1796），字与皆，号谔亭，山东滕县人。乾隆廿一举人，考取咸安宫教习。卅十年，出任广西四会知县。又调任东莞知县，升任直隶州知州，四十一年擢为福建汀州知府。工书法，能文章。
