|（上海）||清嘉庆十年（1805）刻本||原装64册8函 线装||提要：嘉庆刊本为此书最早版本，存世稀少，《善本总目》著录仅国图存有两套。积五十年之功，二十余人为之考释参订而成，此书之精善自不待言。此书以著录历代碑刻为主，汉以前按原来的篆、隶书摹写，汉以后用楷书，总计石刻达一千五百余种，铜器铭文仅十余则，碑文按秦到宋、辽、金的时代为序编次占碑文后附有散见于各金石书、文集中的有关题跋，最后是编者的考释、案语。凡文散见多处者，采用旁注以记其全，篆隶及古文别体字，都摹其点画，加以训诂，题于额阴两侧。王昶，字德甫，号兰泉，青浦人，乾隆十九年士，授内阁中书、协办待读、入军机处，著名金石学家。||参阅：《中国古籍善本总目》第738页
