A gift from H.M The Queen to the Primitive Methodist Church Springtime Fair March 1932 on Buckingham Palace headed card,
a T.A & S Green porcelain dressing table suite late 19th Century
comprising a transfer printed tray with a pair of candlesticks and ring stand, each in a white ground decorated in red, blue with gilt highlighting, printed factory marks to bases, (5).
tray diameter: 30.5cm; candlestick height: 15.5cm; ring stick height: 9.5cm approx.
Condition: Fair to good, with wear to each item, surface scratches apparent, finial on ring stick has been repaired with a chip to the stem, chip to the edge of the candlestick, gilt highlighting rubbed on each, Buckingham Palace card has wear to the edge and hand written note on the reserve.
This dressing table set was donated by Queen Mary to Bromley Methodist Church for their spring fair.
