An impressive and rare Royal Worcester Renaissance style centrepiece modelled by Hadley as a nautilus shell, circa 1878
richly decorated with scrolls, leaves, putti with shells, and fish, raised on a shaped pedestal with sea creatures and figural head mounts on a tiered and pierced stepped base, the shell decorated by Callowhill, with green and puce marks to base, shape number 525
height 43cm., diameter of shell at widest point 25cm
Condition: Minor chip to pierced base, minor chip to one of the figures noses. Minor crack to the base next to the screw in the base.
