A Victorian three piece silver tea service, hallmarked London 1848
comprising of a squat shaped teapot with flowerhead finial, raised upon four anthemion leaf scrolled supports, coffee pot and cream jug, by John James Keith, the teapot engraved 'Presented to Mr Benjamin Jones by the members of the Sheffield Second Patriot Building Society, dated March 1852', 'BHJ' initials on the coffee pot, sugar basin and cream jug, together with a twin handled silver sugar basin, hallmarked London 1846 by Charles Thomas Fox & George Fox, (4).
weight: 69ozt approx; teapot: 14.5cm high; coffee pot: 22cm high; cream jug: 14.5cm; sugar basin: 11cm high approx.
Condition: Fair to good, with wear to each item, tarnished with surface scratches to each item, dents to the body of the teapot, cream jug, sugar basin and coffee pot.
