款识：大明嘉靖年制 |赏析：盘呈长方倭角，浅腹平底，下承四如意形矮足。底髹朱漆、黑漆两层，中上方刻“大明嘉靖年制”单行楷书，并填金。余部以剔红工艺装饰，盘心红漆素地之上剔雕双狮绣球纹，双狮表情憨态可掬，鬃毛雕刻华丽、清晰，围正中央彩球而动，四周衬以石榴、荔枝、葵花等各式折枝花果卉纹，布局繁密，趣味甚浓。盘内壁打洼三层弦纹为饰，外壁则雕方折回纹一周。此件剔红双狮绣球纹盘，以动物与花果为主题纹饰，对狮子的动作形态把握得比较准确；整器造型拙朴端庄，图纹生动，剔刻手法老练，漆色沉稳，包浆陈润，时代特征明显。
