Height: 15" x Diameter: 9" ( Stand) Height: 2-3/8" Chinese Qing Dynasty DouQing glazed porcelain amphora vase, in baluster shaped form, cylindrical belly gently tapered toward conical shoulder and cavetto, with prominent cylindrical neck to a banded rim, raised upon a splayed foot base. Four chi-long dragon flanked on the neck. The exterior decorated in reliefs of archaic silk worm pattern. All reserved in pale-turquoise-celadon underglazed. The amphora vase displayed upon a carved hardwood stand. Embossed, QianLong six characters seal reign mark, Qing Dynasty.PROVENANCE: Fairfax, Virginia private collector.
