Note: From previous owner, this flag purportedly take by a Union soldier from a house in Richmond, Virginia, when Richmond fell to the Union, 15-1/4" x 16-1/4". 2) Civil War veterans GAR brigade flag, 3rd Brigade, Massachusetts; hand stitched, red shamrock with grey border, triangle form of 23" x 33", some fraying and tattering from age and use. 3) Civil War veterans GAR flag, Massachusetts; hand stitched, red shamrock with grey border, 22" x 33", some fraying and tattering from age and use, two areas of loss on right side of flag. 4) Civil War Veterans GAR 4th Corps Massachusetts, 4th Corps, U.S. Mail, hand stitched, green shamrock with green border, 20-1/2" x 33", fraying and tattering from age and use. 5) Civil War Veterans UCV Flag (Blood Stained Banner) 3rd Confederate National Flag, hand stitched, Maltese cross with red "1" at center, grey blue field, fraying and tattering from age and use. All are framed under UV glass with acid free back boards.
