A Chinese coral carving of Guanyin standing upon a double lotus base with a hongmu wood stand and dating from the 19th century. Guanyin holds and infant and has a 2-character mark on the back. Dimensions are: 8 inches tall X 3 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The infant has a horn broken off and there is a small chip in the top of the carving.
