A large Chinese blue and white porcelain vase by Nie Xingshen. There is a signature and seal on the body of the vase with a 4-character mark on the bottom. The rim has a ruyi and cloud band, a band of bats and peaches at the top of the neck, and floral borders at the bottom of the neck and at the top and bottom of the body of the vase. The body of the vase depicts an elaborate landscape of misty mountains with 2 figures ascending a staircase to an observation platform with 4 figures and a gateway.
