A pair of famille verte porcelain lidded ginger jars dating from the late 19th century. They each have carved wooden stands. Each jar is decorated against a green background with floral motifs and butterflies with white ground scenes of flowers, birds, a phoenix, and insects in frames shaped like fans, flowers, and quatrefoils. The lid's frames are cloud shaped, and the lid and jar have geometric borders decorated with babao above a red ruyi border. Dimensions are: 16 inches tall X 9 inches wide.
