A Chinese cinnabar round box dating from the early 19th century. The lid is carved with an old man with an attendant beneath a pine tree in the mountains, while the sides are carved with flowers and vines. Dimensions are: 3 3/4 inches tall X 7 1/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is some cracking and chipping to the interior and 1 small crack in the lid. Provenance: From a Las Vegas estate.
